FC 27 Item Score Calculator

FC 27's Streamlined SBCs don't want a full squad — they want a number. Add your cards, watch the total climb toward the target, and stop feeding SBCs more fodder than they need.

Summary: every FC 27 player item carries an Item Score based on OVR, rarity and Holographic status (e.g. an 85-rated gold = 2,100 pts). Streamlined SBCs set a target — Bouaddi's was 20,000 — and you submit any mix of cards until you hit it. Duplicates count in full, and 84–85 rated fodder is wildly efficient: one 85 is worth about 2.5 eighty-fours. Item Scores are subject to EA tuning — the in-game numbers are the final word.

The calculator

Heads-up: Item Scores are subject to EA tuning. Base values below come from EA's published table (single-source cells marked); special-rarity and Holographic bonus amounts were never published by EA — set your own estimates above or leave them at 0. Always go by the scores shown in-game.

EA confirms rarity and Holographic bonuses stack additively on top of the base score — but has never published the amounts. Enter your own estimates above (check in-game values); leave at 0 for base scores only.

Duplicates count in full — the same player submitted twice scores twice. Streamlined SBCs accept at most 30 cards; only the first 30 valid cards count here. "Estimated" marks single-source values EA hasn't confirmed (92 / 94 / 96–99 / 79 / 77 / 75).

How the new Streamlined SBC works

FC 27 replaced most rating-and-chemistry SBC requirements with a target-score system. Every eligible player item carries an Item Score based on its OVR, rarity and Holographic status, and you contribute items toward the SBC's target across multiple submissions — ten cards worth 200 points each, or two cards worth 1,000, both clear a 2,000 target. That's the whole game now.

No chemistry, positions or formations
Unlike the old system, Streamlined SBCs don't ask for an 11-man squad with chemistry thresholds. Some challenges may add a minimum OVR or restrict which items are eligible, but the days of rebuilding your squad around links are over for these.
Most Player and Upgrade SBCs
The streamlined format covers the majority of Player SBCs and Upgrade SBCs. Traditional SBCs aren't gone — they're kept for puzzle-like, complex multi-requirement challenges.
Duplicates count
The same player submitted multiple times scores in full every time, including untradeable duplicates. Two identical 83-rated cards give 410 + 410 = 820 points.
Partial progress is saved
You can submit in several goes; progress carries over. If the SBC expires before you finish, submitted cards are not returned — instead you get tiered untradeable partial-completion rewards based on the points you banked.
Max 30 cards per challenge
A Streamlined SBC accepts at most 30 player items. Bulk bronze/silver strategies hit this wall fast — 30 silvers cap out at 1,050 points.
Holographic cards score more
EA confirmed rarity and Holographic bonuses stack additively: a Holographic TOTW card gets both the TOTW rarity bonus and the Holographic bonus on top of its base score. Cards rated 87 and below are Regular Holographic; 88 and above are Pristine Holographic. The exact bonus amounts were never published by EA — set your own estimates in the calculator.

Base Item Score table (Gold cards)

EA published the exact base values in the FC 27 Launch Update (cross-checked across independent outlets). Scores for 99 down to 92, plus 79, 77 and 75, come from a single community source and are marked estimated — treat them as provisional until EA confirms.

Special & Holographic bonuses (additive, EA-confirmed but unpublished): EA says each OVR's base score is increased by a rarity bonus and a Holographic bonus that stack — but has never published the amounts. Set your own estimates in the calculator above, or leave them at 0 for base scores. Item Scores are subject to EA tuning during the season.

Worked examples from real SBCs

Bouaddi — 20,000 target. Ten 85-rated golds give 10 × 2,100 = 21,000: done with room to spare. Here's the trap to avoid: twenty-four 84s give 24 × 830 = 19,920 — eighty points short. Swap a single 84 for an 85 and you're at 21,190. That's the 84→85 cliff in action.

Pascal Groß POTM — 18,750 target. Nine 85s give 9 × 2,100 = 18,900 — clears it with 150 to spare. Eight 85s (16,800) leave you 1,950 short, so don't round down.

Raphinha LaLiga POTM — 1,300,000 target. At 40,000 per base 95, that's 32.5 cards — so 33 base 95-rated cards (1,320,000), or fewer special/Holographic cards once you add their bonuses above. Note the 30-card cap: 33 base 95s can't all go in one challenge, so this one genuinely needs specials or Holographics. This is where the calculator earns its keep: always compute before you submit.

SBC Score FAQ

What is an Item Score in FC 27?

An Item Score is the point value attached to every player item in FC 27, based on its OVR, rarity and Holographic status. In the new Streamlined SBC format you submit up to 30 eligible cards toward a target score — for example, an SBC with a 20,000 target can be completed with ten 85-rated cards (2,100 points each = 21,000) or any other combination that reaches the target.

Do duplicate cards count toward an SBC target score?

Yes. Every submitted card scores in full, including duplicates of the same player — even untradeable duplicates. Two identical 83-rated cards contribute 410 + 410 = 820 points. That is why the cheapest fodder strategies in the calculator repeat the same high-value rating.

Do Holographic cards score more in FC 27 SBCs?

Yes. EA confirmed that rarity and Holographic bonuses stack additively on top of the base score — for example a Holographic TOTW card gets both the TOTW rarity bonus and the Holographic bonus. Holographics rated 87 and below are Regular Holographic; 88 and above are Pristine. The exact bonus amounts were never published by EA, so the calculator lets you enter your own estimates (check the values shown in-game).

Why is 84–85 rated fodder the best value in FC 27?

Because the Item Score curve jumps there: going from 83 (410 points) to 84 (830) doubles the score for one rating point, and 84 to 85 (2,100) more than doubles it again. One 85-rated card is worth about 2.5 eighty-fours or 5.1 eighty-threes, so high-84/85 fodder clears targets with far fewer cards.

Will EA change Item Scores during the FC 27 season?

Possibly. EA has said it will keep monitoring Item Scores against real data and player feedback, so scores are subject to tuning. This page's score table is config-driven and marked where values are community estimates — always treat the numbers shown in-game as the final word.

What happens to cards I submit if I don't finish a Streamlined SBC?

Submitted cards are not returned, but your partial progress is saved and you can keep submitting until the SBC expires. If it expires unfinished, you receive tiered untradeable partial-completion rewards based on the points you banked instead of the full reward.

How many cards can I submit to a Streamlined SBC?

At most 30 player items per challenge. Duplicates are allowed and each copy scores in full, but the 30-card cap means bulk bronze and silver strategies top out fast — 30 silvers give you at most 1,050 points.

Do some SBCs require a minimum card rating?

Yes. Some Streamlined SBCs add a per-card minimum OVR on top of the target score — for example a Player of the Month SBC may require every submitted card to be 75-rated or higher. Cards below the floor can't be submitted at all, so set the "Minimum OVR per card" field in the calculator to match your SBC.

Do Gallery sets use Item Score too?

Yes — FC 27's Gallery collection mode uses the same Item Score system. A set's total is the sum of its cards' Item Scores multiplied by active Gallery Tag bonuses (like First Owner or Bronze tags), and grading a set does not consume the cards. Gallery tags don't apply to SBC submissions, which is why this calculator keeps the two separate.

Is there still a Common vs Rare distinction in FC 27?

No. FC 27 removed the Common/Rare split — cards are simply Bronze, Silver, Gold, or special campaign rarities (TOTW, Hero, Icon and so on). That's why this calculator only asks for the card type, not Common vs Rare.

Why are some Item Scores marked "estimated"?

EA published most base values in the FC 27 Launch Update, but scores for 92, 94, 96–99, 79, 77 and 75 come from a single community source and haven't been confirmed by EA. Special-rarity and Holographic bonus amounts were never published at all — the calculator leaves those for you to estimate. Always treat the numbers shown in-game as the final word.
