Hawk Chemistry Style in FC 27

Pace + Shooting + Physical. For forwards who bully defenders — run, finish, and win the shoulder battle.

What Hawk boosts

Hawk boosts three attribute groups: Pace (PAC), Shooting (SHO), and Physical (PHY). Think of it as Hunter plus a strength injection — the same pace-and-shooting core, with the Physical boost to win duels and hold off center-backs. Compare it with the full list in our FC 27 chemistry styles guide.

How the boost scales with chemistry

The boost is not fixed — it scales with that player's own chemistry points:

Player chemistryHawk boost
0 chemistryNo boost at all
1 chemistrySmall boost
2 chemistryMedium boost
3 chemistryMaximum boost (about +3 to Pace, Shooting, and Physical)

A Hawk on a 1-chemistry striker is barely felt. Use our FC 27 chemistry calculator to get the player to 3 chemistry first, then apply the style.

Best positions for Hawk

Rule of thumb: Hawk's third stat only earns its place if the striker actually uses his body. A pure speedster gets more per point from Hunter.

When NOT to pick Hawk

vs Hunter: when Physical is already fine — a rapid striker who doesn't need strength — Hunter's two-stat Pace + Shooting focus is enough, and spreading the style across three groups dilutes what matters.

vs Marksman: if your striker holds the ball up with his back to goal instead of running the channels, Marksman swaps Pace for Dribbling — the better hold-up profile.

Example: Hawk on a striker

Take a strong-but-not-quite-quick striker on 3 chemistry who wins headers but loses footraces. Hawk at 3 chemistry lifts Pace, Shooting, and Physical (about +3 each): he starts getting in behind, finishing cleaner, and shrugging off center-backs. On 1 chemistry, the same style barely shows — fix the chemistry first.

Hawk FAQ

When is Hawk the right chemistry style pick in FC 27?

Hawk is the right pick for strong, fast strikers who bully defenders: Pace to run in behind, Shooting to finish, and Physical to win the shoulder battle. If the striker is already fast, the two-stat Hunter is usually enough.

Hawk or Hunter for a pacey striker in FC 27?

If the striker is already fast, Hunter's two-stat Pace + Shooting focus is enough and keeps all the value where it counts. Hawk only pulls ahead when the striker is strong and physical and needs that third boost. And remember: the player's chemistry matters more than the style.

Hawk or Marksman for a target man in FC 27?

Hawk is for target men who run the channels and bully defenders with pace and strength. Marksman is for target men who hold the ball up with their back to goal — it trades Hawk's Pace for Dribbling.
